BPSOLUTIONS has ambitious growth objectives. We want to further expand our position in the field of Mission Critical IT. Currently, as an addition to the team, we are looking for a Senior Network Consultant who not only thinks strategically, but above all takes the reins hands-on. This role is perfect for an expert who likes to go in-depth and gets energy from designing, implementing and optimising network solutions.
As a Senior Network Consultant at BPSOLUTIONS, you are not only an advisor, but above all the executing force in complex technical challenges. Besides good knowledge of pre-sales, design and implementation of various projects, you will work on Network Operations and virtualisation projects, with a strong focus on implementation and troubleshooting.

  • You are versatile and can work independently;
  • You are actively involved in designing, configuring and implementing network and virtualisation solutions at customers;
  • You solve (complex) network incidents and prevent problems with proactive improvements;
  • You play a key role in (large) migrations and technical projects at customers, where you not only conceive but also execute;
  • You work closely with colleagues and provide hands-on support on technical issues;
  • You document all performed work, configurations and solutions in a structured and clear manner;
  • You analyse customer needs and translate them into feasible solutions, with an eye for technical sustainability and scalability;
  • You provide 2nd/3rd line support for (network) incidents.

Job requirements

You have:

  • Experience with suppliers and are familiar with their products. (For example: Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, HPE, VMware and Cisco Systems);
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the full range of network and infrastructure concepts. Including site-to-site (VPN) technologies, switching (vLANs, STP, stacking, etc.) & routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.), as well as enterprise LAN - SDWAN and WAN data networks, NSX-T, etc.
  • Experience in network analysis, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis;
  • A CCNA or equivalent certificate;
  • A CCNP or equivalent certificate/experience;
  • Good knowledge and experience with Enterprise Microsoft, VMware environments and other software-defined networks and security;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Visio and experience in preparing the necessary documentation.

A plus if you have:

  • Experience with wireless network support (Cisco, HPE Aruba & Meraki);
  • Experience as a Service Desk or other customer support role;
  • Knowledge of system administration (Linux, Windows, VMware);
  • Experience with public cloud networks (Azure);
  • Knowledge and experience with (data security) solutions (Rubrik, NetApp, Commvault).

ABOUT YOU:
